Bvlgari, the Italian luxury brand, launched Man Wood Essence in July 2018. Therefore, it is part of their Bvlgari Man collection. It is available in bottles of 60 and 100 ml. Moreover, for miniature collectors as myself, there is good news: the 15 ml miniature bottle exists (as you can see it in my photographs).

First of all, the full-size bottle looks as in the image taken by Bvlgari below:

It has a antique-toned golden cap with a glass recipient. Secondly, the color of the perfume is a beautiful green. The colors evoke the connection between wood tones and green leafs. They express through design the essence of this fragrance. Moreover, inspired by Nature, its colors cover straight lines inspired by modern city architecture. Gold letters add an even more luxurious touch.

In comparison, the miniature of Bvlgari Man Wood Essence is very similar to the full-size bottle. The cap is a little different. Likewise, all sizes smell the same.

To begin with, this Eau de Parfum is the creation of Alberto Morillas. He also created Goldea The Roman Night Absolute, among other great scents. To summarize, the concept is based on the modern man that loves natural environments. It combines the vitality of the city and the force of Nature.

 

BVLGARI MAN WOOD ESSENCE SCENTS

First of all, imagine a modern urban man. He is busy with his duties, working on his office tasks. Big buildings emerge from the tall windows. All is concrete and glass. Hence, he desires to escape for a relaxing moment. Next, he walks through corridors until he takes a break into a room filled with plants and trees bathed in sunlight. Subsequently, the scent of wood and Nature recharge him. Therefore, he is now in balance with the city and life. In brief, this is how the essence feels like: strong woody scents that immerse you into the natural world.

What does it smell like? At first, this Eau de Parfum has a delicious citrus odor. It is quite fresh but it transforms into a deeper woody scent. After some time, the wood scents take over. Therefore, it is mostly suited for day wear. Wear it at the office or for a date, for going out with friends or just for reading a book in the park. Moreover, I recommend it for Spring, Summer or Fall, but you can of course wear it as you like.

 

 

BVLGARI MAN WOOD ESSENCE INGREDIENTS

What top notes has Bvlgari Man Wood Essence? Most noteworthy, the top notes of this Eau de Parfum are of Italian Citrus Zests and Essence of Coriander. Subsequently, the middles notes merge Cypress Wood and Haitian Vetiver Essence. Lastly, the base notes include Cedar Wood, Ambergris Accords and Benzoin Siam.

For the most part, Haitian Vetiver Essence gives a woody and smoky scent to the perfume.

Furthermore, do you wonder what is Benzoin Siam? The answer is that it is a balsamic resin obtained from the bark of several species of trees. In particular, this resin is used for its sweet scent but also to increase the perfume’s longevity.

Next, Ambergris Accords are based on Sperm Whale secretions. Generally, in modern perfumery, these accords are synthetic. Most notably, they are used for their woody and sweet scent.

 

 

 

BVLGARI MAN WOOD ESSENCE SILLAGE & LONGEVITY

This perfume has a moderate sillage. You can apply 2-3 sprays without being overpowering. Longevity is also moderate, lasting for 3-4 hours.
